In recent months, one of our families has had first-hand experience of the fantastic service provided by Temple Street Hospital. With this on the minds of our staff and children, the idea of a bake sale came to life.
Headed up by Ms. Rosie & Ms. Audrey. There was such an outstanding display and abundance of cakes that the cake sale was held over 2 days. Children, Mammies and Daddies brought in their cakes and bakes for sale.
The children made banners and posters and the parents completely got behind it all by donating for such a worthy cause.
We promote healthy eating in the school but on this occasion the children brought in their pocket money and enjoyed a special treat day or 2.
We cannot thank the parents, children and our wonderful team of staff that made this a huge success. €1,300 was raised and this money will go toward some new equipment for Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
